Welcome to Vibe! Here's how to get started with the app in a few simple steps.

Download the app
Vibe is available on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android). -
Create your account
Sign up with your email or connect via Google or Apple for quick access. -
Complete your profile
Add your photos, nationality and travel interests so other travelers can get to know you. -
Explore the map
Discover travelers present or coming to your destination. -
Connect
Send contact requests and start chatting!
Creating Your Profile
A complete profile increases your chances of connecting with other travelers.
Essential Information
Profile Photo
Choose a clear photo where you are recognizable. Group photos or images without a face reduce trust from other users.
First Name
Use your real first name to facilitate authentic exchanges with other travelers.
Nationality
Indicate your country of origin. This helps other travelers find you and start conversations.
Date of Birth
Your age will be calculated and displayed to other users. Only people 18 and over can use the app.
Personalize Your Profile
- Biography: Describe yourself in a few sentences. Talk about your passions, your favorite travel experiences.
- Travel goals: Select what you're looking for (travel companions, local tips, activities, etc.)
- Interests: Add your interests to find similar travelers.
- Additional photos: Add up to 6 photos to show your personality.
The Interactive Map
The map is the heart of Vibe. It allows you to visualize travelers from around the world.
Types of Pins on the Map
Green Pin
"Here Now" - The traveler is currently present at this location.
Blue Pin
"Coming Soon" - The traveler plans to go to this location soon.
Interacting with Pins
- Tap on a pin to see a profile preview
- Tap "View Profile" to access the full profile
- From the profile, you can send a contact request
Filtering the Map
Use filters to refine your search:
- By city or destination
- By travel dates
- By presence type (here now / coming soon)
Creating a Trip
Share your travel plans so other travelers can find you.
Creation Steps

Choose your destination
Select the city you're going to. You can indicate if the destination is final or still being considered. -
Set the dates
Enter your expected arrival and departure dates. -
Add details (optional)
Estimated budget, planned activities, what you're looking for. -
Publish your trip
Your trip will be visible on the map and in the Discover section.
Managing Your Trips
From the "My Trips" section, you can:
- View all your active and past trips
- Edit trip details
- Delete a trip
- See who's interested in your trip
Messaging
Messaging allows you to communicate with travelers you're connected with.
Starting a Conversation
- Visit a traveler's profile
- Tap "Send a message" or "Vibe"
- If the user accepts, you can exchange messages
Messaging Features
- Text messages: Send instant messages
- Read indicator: See when your messages are read
- Notifications: Receive alerts for new messages
Flash Meetups
Flash Meetups are spontaneous gatherings organized by travelers.
Creating a Flash Meetup

Set the location
Choose a public place for the meetup (cafe, square, monument, etc.) -
Choose the time
Flash Meetups are for meetings in the next few hours. -
Add a description
Describe the activity or purpose of the meeting. -
Set the number of participants
Limit the number of people if necessary.
Joining a Flash Meetup
Available Flash Meetups appear on the map and in the Discover section. Tap on a meetup to see details and join.
Safety and Blocking
Your safety is our priority. Here are the tools available to you.
Blocking a User
If a user is bothering you:
- Go to their profile or the conversation
- Tap the menu (three dots)
- Select "Block"
- Confirm the block
The blocked user will no longer be able to contact you or see your profile. This action is permanent.
Reporting a User
To report inappropriate behavior:
- Go to the profile or conversation
- Tap the menu (three dots)
- Select "Report"
- Choose the reason for reporting
- Add details if necessary

- Always meet in public places
- Tell someone you trust about your plans
- Trust your instincts
- Don't share sensitive personal information
- Avoid getting into a stranger's vehicle
