Vibe collects and stores the following data related to your account:

- Conversations
- Sent messages
- Contact requests
Technical Data
- Last login
- Device type
- Location history
- Connection logs

Edit Your Information
You can edit most of your information directly in the app.
From the App
- Profile photo: Profile > Edit > Photo
- Personal information: Profile > Edit
- Biography and interests: Profile > Edit
- Email: Settings > Account > Email
- Password: Settings > Account > Password
Non-editable Information
Some information cannot be edited directly:
- Date of birth: Contact us if an error was made
- Login method: Once chosen, it cannot be changed
Note: If you need to edit information not accessible in the app, contact us.
Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your Vibe account at any time.
Warning: Account deletion is irreversible. All your data will be permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
Method 1: From the App

Open settings
Tap your profile then the settings icon (gear) -
Go to Account section
Select "Account" or "My account" -
Select "Delete my account"
This option is usually at the bottom of the page -
Confirm your identity
Enter your password to confirm -
Confirm deletion
Read the information and confirm that you want to delete your account
Method 2: By Email
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email:

Go to the Contact page
Click here to access the contact form -
Select "Account deletion"
Choose this option from the dropdown menu -
Provide necessary information
Enter the email associated with your account for verification -
Send the request
We will process your request within a maximum of 30 days
Identity verification: To protect your account against fraudulent requests, we may ask you to verify your identity before proceeding with deletion.
Consequences of Deletion
Here's what happens when you delete your account:
Data Deleted Immediately
- Your profile (name, photos, biography)
- Your preferences and settings
- Your published trips
- Your pending contact requests
- Your visibility on the map
Data Deleted Within 30 Days
- Your messages in conversations
- Your login data
- Your activity logs
- Your stored photos
Data Retained for Legal Reasons
Some data may be retained longer for legal reasons:
- Reports: Reports you made or received may be kept for up to 3 years
- Billing data: If you made purchases (kept according to legal requirements)
- Anonymized data: Anonymous statistics may be retained
What You Lose
- Access to all your conversations
- Your connections with other travelers
- Your trip history
- All data associated with your account
Creating a New Account
After deletion, you can create a new account with the same email address. However:
- No data from the old account will be recovered
- You will need to recreate your profile from scratch
- Your old connections will not be restored
